These Terms of Use concern Graphite Flat, an Android launcher offered by 16 Bit Bytes LLC (“16 Bit Bytes,” “we,” or “us”). Your rights under applicable consumer protection law remain unaffected.
Using Graphite Flat
Graphite Flat lets you customize and organize an Android home screen. Depending on your device and the permissions you choose, features may include app organization, widgets, calendar information, notification indicators, gestures, city search, and weather information. Features depend on Android, device configuration, permissions, and third-party services.
You control whether to grant optional permissions and whether to create or import a settings export. Keep any exported file secure: it may contain launcher preferences, app organization, and your selected weather location. Do not use Graphite Flat or its weather display as an emergency service or as the sole basis for safety-critical decisions. Check authoritative sources for conditions that affect safety. You can revoke optional permissions in Android settings.
Third-party services and information
Weather and alert features rely on MET Norway and NWS services, and current-location labeling may rely on an Android device provider's Geocoder. Availability, accuracy, and terms for these services are controlled by their respective providers. The Graphite Flat Privacy Policy describes the app's information practices and relevant provider notices.
Availability and purchases
The installed build has no billing and grants no purchase entitlement. Billing is unavailable while account setup is pending. Before any unlock is released, we will update these Terms and the Privacy Policy to explain the purchase and related information handling. The initial Google Play release is planned for the United States. The 16 Bit Bytes website may be accessible from other locations.
